Academic Program
English
The High School English program at PARC International School is designed using the New Generation Common Core Standards (NNCC) that prepare students for life outside the classroom. The program allows students to develop their confidence as creative, innovative writers through exploration of an extensive range of genres including- but not limited to- fiction, nonfiction, drama, and poetry from various time periods and places. The program will also foster a love of reading and writing that will lead to a meaningful interaction with texts while enriching their vocabulary and building conceptual skills that prepare them for in-depth analytical study and develop an understanding of critical literacy
The department emphasizes student-centered learning and continually works to instill in learners a genuine interest in reading. The department members work collaboratively to enhance students’ thinking and writing skills, improve their results, and boost their self-confidence. At PARC, we strongly believe that exposing students to multicultural texts would make them empathetic towards others and knowledgeable about different subjects.

The Science program at PARC International School provides students with opportunities for discovering and developing their own natural curiosity in a fun and engaging way. Our program aims to build a strong foundation in science that is characterized by deep understanding of basic science concepts and learning more advanced concepts in the future. The program will also empower them to ask more questions, think critically, and generate innovative ideas.
Our students will also build a conceptual understanding of the natural world and will be knowledgeable about the concepts and processes of the three major branches of science: earth, life, and physical sciences.

Social Studies
The Social Studies program at PARC International School is founded upon students understanding the past, present, and future. As an international school, the social studies program will help students understand the world in which they live.
Students will be engaged in learning through a variety of instructional opportunities such as group projects, hands-on activities, classroom discussions, in addition to other methodologies that enable them to understand the world around them.
